ALM Kitching’s Writing Workshops

ALM Kitching, author of 6 books for authors, holds weekend writing workshops. In the SHORT STORY CHALLENGE, participants start with a blank page and end with 1000 to 1500 words of polished prose over the course of one weekend.  These are then published in an anthology for sale on Amazon.

I am one of the instructors for this weekend – my speciality is how to set up a manuscript and covers for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), the publishing part of Amazon, and more broadly the options for authors to get their work out there – self-publish, traditional and hybrid, but also magazines and on-line forums.
